Our new headquarters will allow us to continue to expand our services to new and existing customers.

LIBERTY RANCH IRRIGATION SYSTEM NOTICE: The irrigation system at Liberty Ranch has been started up for the early season. Treated water has been introduced into the system and is available for use by subdivision residents. We hope to have the ability to introduce ditch water at reduced rates into the system by mid-summer.

The Longs Peak Water District delivers safe, quality water to about 1000 homes in Northern Colorado. We are dedicated to providing quality water as economically as possible while promoting water conservation throughout Northern Colorado.

The primary storage reservoir for LPWD is Carter Lake. The majority of our water is treated at the Carter Lake Filter Plant which is located below the south dam at Carter Lake. We have a smaller treatment plant near the LPWD office site (on Vermillion Road North of Longmont) which we operate primarily in the summer months to accommodate "peak" flows.
